如何解决FactoryTalk登陆密码丢失的问题

在登陆FactorTalk 时，需输入Network或Local的用户名和密码

如果忘记，则无法登陆。

如果这时在FactoryTalk Directory Configuration Wizard 中无法设置新的用户名和密码，则SE的软件使用就有影响。

如何解决这个问题？

根据RA的资料，密码和下面这两个文件夹下的

$ $ 两个文件有关。如果可能，只需把新装的软件中的这两个文件替换现有的即可（在替换之前要Stop all the

FTAP services on the FactoryTalk Directory Server computer）

C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataRockwellRNAServerGlobal

(for RSView SE distributed applications)

C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataRockwellRNAServerLocal

(for RSView ME and SE stand-alone applications)

我的解决方法：

由于没有替换的文件，因此决定重装。

卸载SE和FactoryTalk

删除C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataRockwellRNAServer 文件夹

重装 SE

问题解决。

RA的解决原文如下：

Hi, Mr Li:

Pls. change the attached file format from .txt to .zip and then follow the instruction to reset your

FactoryTalk security system.

Note:

The attached file is in #4 (last line)

Problem:

If an RSAsset Security administrator user account password expires, you will be asked to

change the password. If you do not remember the password (and no other users were created

or linked to Windows users), the application cannot be accessed for either Local or Network

Directory.

By default, passwords in a Network Directory (distributed application) will expire after 42 days.

Solution:

1. Stop all the FTAP services on the FactoryTalk Directory Server computer.

2. Unzip the attached file on the FactoryTalk Directory Server computer.

3, Copy and replace the existing files in either one or both of the following folders:

C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataRockwellRNAServerGlobal

(for RSView SE distributed applications)

C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataRockwellRNAServerLocal

(for RSView ME and SE stand-alone applications)

4. Reboot the FactoryTalk Directory Server computer after replacing the desired files.

5. The FactoryTalk Directory Configuration Wizard needs to be run so that the default

Administrator account and password for the Local and/or Network Directory can be created.

Note that this should only be used as the last resort. Replacing the $ and

$ files is the equivalent of un-installing, deleting these files and then re-installing

FTAP 2.0. The net effect is that:

1.

All existing users (RSAsset Security and Windows-Linked Users) will need to be

reconfigured - in both RSAsset Security and ME/SE User Accounts

2.

All existing computers will need to be added back into RSAsset Security

3.

All RSAsset Security Product and System policy settings will be reset to defaults
