TIwarrantsperformanceofitscomponentstothespecificationsapplicableatthetimeofsale,inaccordancewiththewarrantyinTI’sterms

gandotherqualitycontroltechniquesforTIcomponentsareusedtotheextentTI

wheremandatedbyapplicablelaw,testingofallparametersofeachcomponentisnot

necessarilyperformed.

TIassumesnoliabilityforapplicationsassistanceorthedesignofBuyers’areresponsiblefortheirproductsand

mizetherisksassociatedwithBuyers’productsandapplications,Buyersshouldprovide

adequatedesignandoperatingsafeguards.

ReproductionofsignificantportionsofTIinformationinTIdatabooks,datasheetsorreferencedesignsispermissibleonlyifreproductionis

withoutalterationandisaccompaniedbyallassociatedwarranties,conditions,limitations,tresponsibleorliablefor

ationofthirdpartiesmaybesubjecttoadditionalrestrictions.

Buyeracknowledgesandagreesthatitissolelyresponsibleforcompliancewithalllegal,regulatoryandsafety-relatedrequirements

concerningitsproducts,andanyuseofTIcomponentsinitsapplications,notwithstandinganyapplications-relatedinformationorsupport

epresentsandagreesthatithasallthenecessaryexpertisetocreateandimplementsafeguardsthat

anticipatedangerousfailures,monitorfailuresandtheirconsequences,lessenthelikelihoodofdangerousfailuresandtakeappropriate

illfullyindemnifyTIanditsrepresentativesagainstanydamagesarisingoutoftheuseofanyTIcomponentsin

Buyer’ssafety-criticalapplications.

Insomecases,TIcomponentschcomponents,TI’sgoalisto

helpenablecustomerstodesignandcreatetheirownend-productsolutionsthatmeetapplicablefunctionalsafetystandardsand

eless,suchcomponentsaresubjecttotheseterms.

NoTIcomponentsareauthorizedforuseinFDAClassIII(orsimilarlife-criticalmedicalequipment)unlessauthorizedofficersoftheparties

haveexecutedanagreementspecificallygoverningsuchuse.

OnlythoseTIcomponentsthatTIhasspecificallydesignatedasmilitarygradeor“enhancedplastic”aredesignedandintendedforusein

military/cknowledgesandagreesthatanymilitaryoraerospaceuseofTIcomponentsthat

havenotbeensodesignatedissolelyatBuyer'srisk,andBuyerissolelyresponsibleforcompliancewithalllegalandregulatory

requirementsinconnectionwithsuchuse.

TIhasspecificallydesignatedcertaincomponentsasmeetingISO/TS16949requirements,aseofuseof

non-designatedproducts,TIwillnotberesponsibleforanyfailuretomeetISO/TS16949.
