Cause

Resolution

1. 在本机安装所需的Creo 2.0 应用程序

2. 复制各应用程序安装目录中的*.xml 文件（例如

录><应用程序名称>binpim*.xml ）

3. 安装Creo Parametric 等应用程序时，必须安装共享文件

4. 共享目录的*.xml 文件位于CommonFiles<日期

代码>

5. 打开命令行提示符，输入静默安装命令，语法如下：

: –xml "<*.xml 文件的保存路

径>" –xml "<*.xml 文件的保存路

径>"

6. 执行此命令即可以非图形模式安装Creo 2.0

1. Install Creo on a local machine with required applications (Eg: Creo Parametric, Creo

Direct, Creo Simulate, etc)

2. To perform Silent Installation .xml files for Common Files is required.

For Creo 2.0 the .xml file can be found under

(CommonFilesbinpimxml) as

3. Copy the *.xml files from application installation directories (Eg:

binpim*.xml, is based on application as

Parametric, Simulate, Direct etc)

For Diagnostics Tools use found in pimxml

Save all .xml files under one folder

Right click on Command Prompt and select run as administrator

Change Command Prompt default directory to the location of Creo installation DVD or

Downloaded media

1. To install Creo Parametric type syntax in command prompt as:

dvd>: -xml "location of saved .xml " -xml "location of

saved .xml "

2. By running this syntax Creo will install in no graphics mode

3. For Creo Schematics, do not use , syntax is :

dvd>: -xml "location of saved .xml "

PTC Diagnostics Tools is installed by default as part of Creo silent installation and cannot be

disabled/uncheched during installation
