5E.4.2.7 Protective covers
5E.4.2.7防护盖
The fire code official is authorized to require the installation of listed manual fire alarm
box protective covers to prevent malicious false alarms or provide the manual fire alarm
box with protection from physical damage. The protective cover shall be transparent or red
in color with a transparent face to permit visibility of the manual fire alarm box. Each
cover shall include proper operating instructions. A protective cover that emits a local
alarm signal shall not be installed unless approved.
消防规范官员有权要求安装列单手动箱防护罩以防恶意虚假报警或者要求为手动火
灾报警器提供物理伤害防护装置。防护罩应当透明或者为红色配备透明面，以便查
看手动火灾报警器。每个护罩都应包含正确操作说明。除非获得批准，否则禁止安
装发送本地报警信号的防护罩。
