三、教材分析
教学内容分析:第六单元是个有现实教育意义的单元,又是比较有趣味的一个单
元。它的核心教学项目是“accident”, Lesson42 是本单元的重点之一,通过学生
对圣诞节来临之际布置教室是发生的一起不安全事故,使学生意识到安全的重要
性,是英语教学更切近生活。主要描述由于Danny的不小心使 Brian受伤住院,
为下一课作好铺垫。
学情分析:通过对本课课文的理解,结合讨论并展示近些年的常发生的一些影响
较大的事故,得出结论:Safety is the most important in our life .We should love our
lives and enjoy the better life.
教学目标:1.能听懂、会读、会拼、会说单词careful serious ladder injury fault
ambulance
2.能掌握句型:It is nothing serious. It is my fault .
3.提高听说能力,自如表达故事情节。
4.提高阅读速度和理解材料的准确度。
5.能用英语写出所描述的故事。
6.通过本课的学习,渗透对学生的安全教育。
教学重点:提高学生的听力水平和口头表达能力。
教学难点: 口头表达能力的提高。

Step1 Warming up
Show some pictures of accidents .Let them talk about the pictures in groups .Give
them some help if needed . Show pictures or videos

设计意图:通过多媒体手段,展示画面或视频,“我爸是李刚”事故的放映中把
注意力牢牢地吸到课堂上,使学生受到深刻的思想教育。根据画面的语言或视频
提示描述事故过程。明确:What happened ?What causes accidents? What should
people do if an accident happens? What should we learn from it ?
Step2: Presentation:
Show pictures and teach : ladder , ambulance
In which situation do we use them? Answer one by one .

student just says one sentence in turns once .Write them out in English quickly , check
the mistakes each other . See who is the best .
