1．简要介绍：

Wyse TCX Suite是一套可以增强用户在使用虚拟化桌面体验的软件/解决方案，其主要可增强以下用户使用体验：

 播放多媒体视频优化 (MMR)

 播放网页内Flash视频 (Flash Redirection)

 USB设备重定向 (USB Redirection)

 音频优化和双向语音 (Rich Sound)

 双显示器体验改善 (Multi-Display)

可以应用以下虚拟化场景：

 Microsoft Terminal Server 2003/2008

 VMWare View (工作在RDP协议，暂不支持PCoIP协议)

 Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop

注：

1. 在Terminal Server/XenApp环境下，Wyse TCX USB设备重定向是设备共享模式，即USB设备对所有用户可见。

2．安装部署：

Wyse TCX Suite是一种C/S架构的解决方案。对于测试，下载的服务器端内置30天测试License，不用再申请测试License。License的检测全部放在服务器端进行，客户端不再需要输入License。

2.1

服务器端：

 对于VMWare View或Citrix XenDesktop桌面虚拟化是安装在Windows XP/7桌面虚拟机内；

 对于Terminal Server或Citrix XenApp是安装在TS或XenApp服务器上。

测试版(内置30天License)可从以下网址下载：

/serviceandsupport/support/

正式版则从’Active’内目录内去下载，此连接会自动转到/网站，正式用户会有账户去下载正式版和申请License.

注：测试版内置30天测试License，安装时不需要输入License；正式版在安装过程中则有一个界面需要输入正式 Lincense.

TCX 4.0版本之后，所有功能为统一安装包，各组件不再需要单独安装包；安装时，可以分别选择需要安装的组件。

2.2客户端：

 Thin OS 系列的客户机， 如S10L/C10LE/V10LE/R10LE已经内嵌到Thin OS，不需要再安装。

 WinCE, Linux, XPE/WES系列的客户机则需要单独安装客户端组件, 可在Wyse官网上选择相应的型号下载客户端/serviceandsupport/support/

3. 验证是否正确工作

3.1检验TCX MMR是否起作用

连接到远程桌面后，播放一个视频文件。如果是全屏幕模式，管理员可以按CTRL+ALT+UP，将session变成窗口模式，这样就可以看WTOS的任务栏。

然后选择WTOS任务栏上的”?”，调出系统日志。

如果系统日志里出现如“Vaild TCX Key”，并提示过期日期，则证明TCX正在起作用。如未出现此提示，或提示”Invaild TCX Key”，则说明TCX没有生效或者License过期。

MMR: Media type audio/x-wma. 说明MMR将视频里的音频转换为了wma格式。

MMR: Media type video/x-wmv说明MMR将视频信号转换为了wmv格式。

注：TCX MMR支持的视频格式文件有:

MPEG-1

MPEG-2

H.264/MP4 part 10

WMV 7/8/9

WMA

MP3

3.2

检验TCX Flash是否起作用

在TCX Flash加速网页内Flash的时候，在Event Log里也会有

MMR: Media type image/jpeg的日志。

同时最直观的就是会在加速的Flash上面出现一个小’W’的图标。

补充：

Flash redirection is supported only in iexplorer > 6.0

Only one Flash player can be redirected at any given point of time

Only one iexplorer instance can be redirected at any given point of time.

Flash Redirection works on Windows7 but audio play back is though RDP audio out

Flash Redirection can play larger flash video with limitations. It will not redirect the complete

large video rather it will redirect the smaller part of the large flash video which has got higher

frame rate

Flash Redirection will not redirect video of size greater than 720X480. It will be played

through RDP

If there are more than one flash objects on the same page, then internal algorithm chooses

one video to redirect via Flash redirection. The algorithm is based upon the frame rate of the

video. There are chances that the flash redirection switches between flash objects and if that

happens then the flash redirection will take few seconds to restore back

Scrolling, moving or creation of new flash object in iexplorer page can cause the playback

of original redirected video to stop for few seconds

Flash Redirection will not happen for flash videos having frame rate less than four.

Adobe Flash Player crashes in full screen in Windows 7 and Windows 2008 R2 if flash

hardware acceleration is on. To make full screen work on above mentioned OS, hardware

acceleration should be switched off. This is limitation of adobe flash player on windows 7.

IE Security settings need to be switched off to play video through FR in windows 2003 and

windows 2008 Servers.

3.3

检验TCX USB重定向是否起作用

3.3.1 检验客户机TCX Client是否正常连接上了TCX Server:

在客户机Event Log中会有:

TCX Server Contected.

TCX USB: Redirect device on port

类似的记录。如果没有以上记录，则说明虚拟机中的TCX Server工作不正常。

3.3.2 检验虚拟机中的TCX Server

首先可在开始->程序->Wyse TCX的控制台得General里查看License是否过期。

测试版的有30天测试期；正式购买的版本会显示Product Versioin，没有过期。

如License没有过期，则请参照4.4节，可查看TCX Server的具体输出日志。

检验TCX Rich Sound是否起作用

如果在音频设置中，出现’WTOS Audio’ 则证明其工作正常

4. Trouble Shooting

4.1

对于VMWare View环境：

部署虚拟机时，需要先安装Wyse TCX组件，再安装VMWare Tools 和View Agent。安装成功后需在VMware View Connection Web Console上做以下设置，以使TCX生效：

View Configuration->Servers->View Connection Servers->Edit, 将Use secure tunnel

connection to desktop’去掉。

4.2

抓取日志

在某些功能不如预期的工作，可以抓取TCX本身的日志，以进行排错。

在“开始”菜单中，打开TCX控制台选择其中的’General’，选择Type’Log

file’，TCX在工作的时候就会产生出日志供排错。

Type也可以选择DebugView。此时可打开DebugView，然后断开虚拟机连接。再重新连接会话，并插上USB设备，此时TCX会将Log输出到DebugView.

5. TCX/HDX/PCoIP/RemoteFX

使用播放器播放视频文件：

WTOS在连接XenApp或XenDesktop时，默认是用HDX 进行优化；也可以设置EnableRave=No而使用TCX进行优化。

WTOS在连接Windows 7或2008 R2时，默认是用RemoteFX 进行优化；其无法优化的，会自动调用TCX进行优化。

网页内的Flash视频：

WTOS系统:

VMWare RDP环境下，只能用TCX Flash优化。

Citrix环境下，因为HDX的Flash优化技术需要客户端本地有缓存（WTOS本地不开放此类型存储空间），所以Flash的优化必须需要通过TCX。

3. USB设备重定向：

WTOS系统：

VMWare RDP连接下，只能用TCX USB功能，因为WTOS没有VMWare USB客户端；

Citrix环境内，可选择用TCX USB或HDX USB，通过Device=vusb type=[HDX,TCX]

语音重定向：

VMWare RDP或Citrix环境都可以使用TCX, USB和Analogy耳机都可支持。

在PCoIP连接下(P20或Windows Client)，所有优化功能都通过其协议本身进行。TCX暂不工作在PCoIP协议下。
