I had just a very wonderful day but, all my days were always wonderful to me! But today was completely different.

There was a bulletin board saying that they would need to find volleyball players among the girls and I was so happy! I

love playing volleyball when my mother taught me how to play. I was so excited that I couldn ' t wait to play! Then I read

more what was on that

bulletin board and it said that there would be an audition after three weeks ! ” Three weeks? ” I

thought about it. I do know how to play volleyball but I'm not an expert in doing it. I still have to try.

After that I was determined to practice volleyball every day, and I planned on practicing playing volleyball the next day

and I did. I practiced and practiced harder each day and I never got tired of doing the same practices through all the days,

and finally, the day came. I was so prepared for this and hurried to the audition. When I reached the gym I was surprised to

see 12 or 14 girls lining up and I guessed I was the last one to arrive. Then the audition began;some of the girls failed to

pass the audition and some passed the audition.

There was only I slot left to complete the 6 girls to join the volleyball team and suddenly I felt nervous because the

person in front of me was going to take her serve. Then the girl hit the ball and then the ball didn pass ovetr the net. The

girl slapped her forehead and left, leaving me standing in the middle of the court.

Then the coach spoke, “ Okay, you, serve! ' ' She handed me the ball and I caught it with my hands. As the ball was in

my hands, my hands were suddenly sweating! 注意

parties, went to many beautiful places, married many women, collected many luxurious things and did other things that

pleased him. Until one day the time came. He wasn't very surprised at this, because he knew that the time would come. But

now he had to leave all the things that made him happy, and would undergo living in the very dangerous place—an island

of thick jungle and so many wild animals. He was very scared but could do nothing with tears in his eyes.

Every other king was the same — laughed in the beginning, but cried in the end.

One day, a young man came. He was always thinking. He said even if he had a happy life in the five years, his life as a

king would come to an end. So he made a surprising decision. At the present time, I won ' t make an extravagant（的）

life, but I will be prepared for my life on the remote island. ”

In the first year the wise king sent troops, animal trainers to the dangerous island whose task was to control the wild

animals there. In the second year, he sent farmers to the island to start a wild rice field there. In the third year, he built some

facilities on the island, from electricity to hospitals. In the fourth year, he sent many educated people there. In the fifth year,

he sent his family and his friends to the island. And finally the time came when the king had tobe thrown away to the island.

He laughed.
