vTwoormorepeoplearerequiredtoinstalldevices2Uorlargerinarackcabinet.

vSeetheserverInstallationandServiceGuideforthemaximumroomairtemperature.

vInstalltheserveronlyinarackcabinetthathasperforateddoors.

vDonotblockanyairvents,usually15cm(6in.)ofairspaceprovidesproperairflow.

vPlanthedeviceinstallationstartingfromthebottomoftherackcabinet.

vInstalltheheaviestdeviceinthebottomoftherackcabinet.

vDoprevent

damagetoservercomponents,alwaysinstallafillerpaneltocovertheopenspaceandtohelpensure

properaircirculation.

vDonotextendmorethanonedeviceoutoftherackcabinetatthesametime.

vConnectallpowercordstoproperlywiredandgroundedelectricaloutlets.

vDonotoverloadthepoweroutletwheninstallingmultipledevicesintherack.

vRemovetherackdoorsandsidepanelstoprovideeasieraccessduringinstallation.

vInstalltheserverinarackthatmeetsthefollowingrequirements:

–Minimumdepthof70mm(2.76in.)betweenthefrontmountingflangeandinsideofthefrontdoor.

–Minimumdepthof190mm(7.48in.)betweentherearmountingflangeandinsideofthereardoor.

–Minimumdepthof718mm(28.27in.)andmaximumdepthof762mm(30in.)betweenthefront

andrearmountingflangestosupporttheuseofthecablemanagementarm.

Note:ThemaximumdistancebetweenthefrontandtherearEIAflangeoftherackis810mm(31.9

in.).

Usesafepracticeswhenlifting.
