Mini PCI插槽也同样是在PCI插槽的基础上发展起来的,最初是应用于笔记本,
现在不少台式机也配备了Mini PCI插槽。Mini PCI的定义与PCI基本上一致,
只是在外型上进行了微缩。目前使用Mini PCI插槽的主要有内置的无线网卡、
Modem+网卡、电视卡以及一些多功能扩展卡等硬件设备。
PCI 是 Peripheral Component Interconnect 的缩写
