一、UCP600简介

套《跟单信用证统一惯例》作为信用证在国际间进行操作适用的法律体制。《跟单信用证统

一惯例》第600出版物替代了先前的《跟单信用证统一惯例》第500号出版物。

二、《跟单信用证统一惯例》修订的原因

英文原文：

The primary objective of the ICC, which was established in 1919, is facilitating

the flow of international trade. It was in that spirit that the UCP were first introduced.

The stated aim of the new revision is, as with earlier revisions, “to address

developments in the banking, transport, and insurance industries.” This particular revision has

also sought to improve the drafting of the UCP in order to facilitate consistent application and

interpretation of the Rules.

In broader terms, the aim of ICC is to enhance the reputation of Letters of Credit

as the settlement means of choice among international traders. Part of this aim involves reducing

documentary rejections, which surveys indicate may be as high as 70% of the first presentations.

practice there are many changes. However, the overall effect is one of clarification

三、《跟单信用证统一惯例600》的结构

1、UCP600 不同于UCP500分为7个部分，每个部分以开头字母A到G排序，其大致结

构如下：

1) Provisions and Definitions (Articles 1~3); 定义解释(第1~3条)

2) Form and Notification of Credits (Articles 9~11); 信用证修改通知及其格式

(第9~11条)

3) Liabilities and Responsibilities (Articles 4~8; 14~16); 信用证有关方的责

任和义务(第4~8条;第14~16条)

4) Nominated Banks (Articles 12~13); 指定，银行之间的偿付安排(第12~13条)

5) Documents (Articles 17~28); 信用证相关单据(第17~28条)

6) Miscellaneous Provisions (Articles 29~37); 各种相关规定

7) Transferable Credit (Articles 38); 可转让信用证

8) Assignment of Proceeds (Articles 39); 款项让渡

2、交易者应注意熟悉的条款：

1)1~3; 4~8, and 14~16: these articles set out the basic responsibilities of the

banks when examining documents tendered for payment under Letters of Credit governed
